Hailed by French critics as possessing "une voix ronde et agile, un visage mobile et expressif, une plastique enviable et un aplomb scénique irréprochable" (for her interpretation of Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro), Carolina is graduated in Piano at "G. Paisiello" Conservatory of her town and in Singing at "G. B. Martini" Conservatory in Bologna. Right after Carolina has studied at the Belcanto Academy "Rodolfo Celletti" in Martina Franca with Lella Cuberli, Fabio Luisi, Vittorio Terranova, Stefania Bonfadelli, Sonia Prina.
In 2016, she became member of the Joung Artist Program of Theater an der Wien and in 2018 she has won the Stella Maris International Vocal Competition.

Her recent engagements include performances with Teatro Regio of Torino (Carolina in
Il matrimonio segreto directed by Pier Luigi Pizzi under the baton of Nikolas Nägele; Adina in L'elisir d'amore), Semperoper Dresden (Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro directed by Johannes Erath and conducted by Omer Meir Wellber), Theater an der Wien (Thais by Massenet directed by Peter Konwitschny and conducted by Leo Hussain; Elias by Mendelssohn-Bartholdy directed by Calixto Bieito and conducted by Jukka-Pekka Saraste; Merab in Saul by Händel in a Claus Guth new production conducted by Laurence Cummings). She recently sang the role of Soprano I in the Great Mass in C minor by Mozart conducted by Federico Maria Sardelli in Palermo; Gnese in Il Campiello by E. Wolf-Ferrari in Venice; Ifigenia in Oreste by G. F. Händel at Händel-Festspiele in Halle; Nina in the critical edition of Il giovedì grasso by Donizetti in Ancona; Adelaide in Adelaide di Borgogna in Rovigo; Despina in Così fan tutte at Nevill Holt Opera and Sage Gateshead in UK, Clorinda in La Cenerentola directed by Stephen Barlow and conducted by David Parry at Grange Festival.
